About the Course

The goal of Grammar is for students to learn and correctly use advanced grammatical structures in both oral and written form.

Learning Objectives

By the end of Grammar Level 10, students will be able to:

--Understand and correctly use advanced English grammatical structures, with an emphasis on correctly using these structures in student writing.

Develop a conscious understanding of advanced English syntax:

1.1. Use and understand the use of participial adjectives
1.2. Use and understand the use of adjective clauses and reduced clauses
1.3. Use and understand the use of adverb clauses and reduced clauses
1.4. Use and understand the use of noun clauses and sentence variety in written English
1.5. Use and understand the use of the conditional
1.6. Use and understand the use of connectors in written English

Within multiple contexts students will be able to:

G10.1 Correctly use, understand, and identify participial adjectives.
G10.2 Correctly use, understand, and identify adjective clauses
G10.3 Correctly use, understand, and identify adverb clauses.
G10.4 Correctly use, understand, and identify noun clauses.
G10.5 Correctly use, understand, and identify sentence variety in written English.
G10.6 Correctly use, understand, and identify the conditional.
G10.7 Correctly use, understand, and identify connectors.
