As long as I can remember, I have always been an artist. It is truly who I am at my core. I fell in love with the arts, cultural studies, and the humanities at a very young age. I enjoy the process of designing, thinking outside of the box, and challenging existing methods.

I began taking studio art and art history classes in high school and college, losing myself in art education and working at the University of Miami's Lowe Art Museum, Wolfsonian Museum, and the international art fair, Art Basel. I completed numerous art courses; 2D Design, Graphic Design, Drawing, Figure Drawing, Painting, Mixed-Media, Photography, Printmaking, Art Appreciation, and Art History courses. I have a great passion for creating paintings, drawings, and using Adobe Creative Cloud; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Lightroom.

In my career as an educator, I utilize my artistic background to innovate and create new company trainings, academic curriculum, presentation materials, and active-learning activities for students and staff. Utilizing creative technologies and staying abreast of current digital literacy trends is paramount for me. That is why I have obtained my Apple Teacher certification, specializing in teaching with Apple products such as iPad, Keynote, iMovie, Mac, Pages,Numbers, and GarageBand. I have also obtained certifications in Adobe products and teaching methodologies to integrate creativity into my curriculum: Adobe Creative Educator Level 1 & 2, Adobe Express in the Classroom, and Adobe's Designing Your Creative Course. The process of creating, and inspiring others to create, is what drives me as a professor, trainer, as as a person.
