My Story

I founded Comuníq Public Relations with a clear mission: to craft thoughtful, strategic communications for organizations at the intersection of education, technology, wellness, and culture. Rooted in the creative energy of Miami and shaped by my background as a public relations educator, Comuníq PR blends academic insight with data-informed execution to help mission-driven brands elevate their voice and extend their impact.

Before launching Comuníq PR, I spent over a decade teaching public relations, media strategy, and digital branding at institutions including the University of Florida, UMass Boston, University of Central Florida, and the University of Miami. In parallel, I led national and global communications efforts for colleges and universities across the Carnegie Classification spectrum—ranging from R1 research institutions to regional colleges—delivering enrollment-driven marketing strategies, institutional storytelling, and integrated social media campaigns.

My expertise in social media spans both paid and organic strategy, including the development, execution, and optimization of campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Snapchat. I've helped institutions increase reach, engagement, and conversions through targeted content strategies, performance analytics, and A/B testing—driving measurable ROI and aligning digital presence with strategic enrollment goals.

These experiences continue to inform my consulting approach: one rooted in higher education strategy, platform analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. Whether supporting a campus-wide rebrand, launching a digital storytelling initiative, or guiding a recruitment-focused social media campaign, I help institutions and impact-driven organizations communicate with clarity, consistency, and creativity.
