Our Story
Comuníq Public Relations was founded with a clear vision: to craft thoughtful, strategic communications for organizations at the intersection of art, design, culture, and education. Rooted in the vibrant creative scene of Miami, and led by public relations educator and practitioner Chrissy Cruz, Comuníq PR blends academic insight with real-world execution to help mission-driven brands elevate their voice.
Before founding Comuníq PR, I spent over a decade teaching public relations, media strategy, and digital branding at top institutions including the University of Miami, University of Central Florida, and the University of Florida. My classroom approach is shaped by her professional experience, having worked with renowned cultural institutions such as the Lowe Art Museum and The Wolfsonian Art Museum, as well as representing the Lowe during Art Basel Miami Beach.
As both a university lecturer and creative strategist, I built Comuníq PR to support art museums, galleries, nonprofits, and design-forward businesses in telling their stories with impact, through bilingual media outreach, campaign design, and meaningful engagement.
